This draft was pretty weird for me. At first it seemed like I was getting shipped a lot of red, so I went with that. After the first two or three packs I don't think I passed any significant amount of playable red. This was supposed to discourage the bozo on my right from taking my red during pack two. Pack two came along and the red dried up almost instantly. I ended up gong with a W/R weenie deck, which I forgot to record. Oh well, it wasn't too exciting. I honestly didn't have high hopes for it.

Round 1: I played again perhaps the worst draft opponent I have ever encountered. The MTGO community is full of pretty strong players, but this guy was so bad it was shocking. In game one I had to mulligan three times because I literally didn't draw a single land. The hand I kept had a mountain, plains, emberwield augur, ghostfire, and judge unworthy. He didn't play anything until turn five (a rathi trapper that was ghostfired). He didn't do anything else for the rest of the game. Amazing, I know. He even had five land in play.

In game two I had a much stronger hand. On turn two I dropped the augur again, on turn three I dropped another 2/1. I attacked he with my augur and he blocked with a morphed creature, which turned out to be a whipspine drake. The amazement continues. On turn four I dropped a Calciderm and he conceded... on turn four. I'm not complaining!

Round 2: My opponent played a R/G sliver deck. In game 1 I basically just beat him down with 2/2 flankers. The only creatures he played were the 1/1 poison sliver, the 2/2 haste sliver, the 2/2 slivercyling sliver, and the 3/3 first strike sliver.

Game 2 I had a very slow start and he made it to the late game. In game 3 I got him down to 3 and then top decked land for six turns (despite only having 16 in my deck). He dropped a might sliver and the first strike sliver. That's all she wrote!
